AM-DeadLink

Let's say that you have a lot of website links in your web browser Favorites. Some of these websites may be down or unavailable and it's no use keeping them in the Favorites list. The problem is that it's really difficult and time-consuming to check each website link. A much better idea for performing this process would be to use the AM-DeadLink application, a program specially designed for checking dead links inside the Favorites folder of almost any web browser.

After installing the application, the user will be able to view the list of bookmarks or Favorites straight away, just by selecting the desired web browser from the list. By using the graphical toolbar, users will be able to check the links for not working ones or for duplicates in the shortest time possible. When checking for dead links, each of them will have its status updated in real time and the ones which are dead will be colored in red, to make them easier to spot.

What's more, AM-DeadLink can automatically download favicons for all your website links and display them near the links. After downloading favicons and checking Favorites for dead links, all the information can be exported to a regular text file, to be analyzed later on. Also, when clicking on a link, its preview will be displayed in the lower part of the interface. In this way, the user will quickly know whether the website is useful and needs to be in the Favorites folder or it can be removed.
